NORD employs a wide range of technologies to provide customized cost efficient and eco friendly drive solutions. They include regenerative braking, automatic magnetization adjustment, copper rotors, 87 Hz operation, and intermediate circuit coupling.

NORD is currently developing IE3 motors. They will ensure an efficiency increase of at least 10% compared with the IE2 class, primarily by the use of different materials.

Six sizes of the NORD SK 500E series control cabinet inverters are available, with outputs from 0.25 kW to 22kW.
