R200 and R201 - The New Optical Sensors for Longer Operating Distances

Mannheim, April 2018: With the R200 and R201 designs, the forward-thinking product design of photoelectric sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs enables applications with longer operating distances. Just like the compact R100, R101, and R103 series, both new products consistently offer all photoelectric functional principles in a design that is now larger and suitable for specific mounting situations. Usability is intuitive and identical across all series—and the standardized IO-Link connection via the latest Smart Sensor Profiles also enables convenient and reliable integration of the sensors.

Two Birds with One Stone Inductive Position Measurement - ready for Industry 4.0

The new PMI F90 inductive positioning system from Pepperl+Fuchs can precisely detect the absolute position of one actuator as well as the distance between two. Thanks to IO-Link technology, the system has comprehensive communication functionality and is equipped for I4.0 applications. Patented multi-coil technology guarantees maximum measurement accuracy.

Positioning with Maximum Reliability Large Reading Window and Codes Enhance Performance of 2-D System

The PXV 2-D absolute positioning system from Pepperl+Fuchs sets new performance benchmarks when it comes to reliability and handling. With its large reading window, the system keeps a sufficient number of codes in view, even in relation to track switches and changes to the code tape. Precise positioning is guaranteed at all times.

Ethernet IO Modules with Multiprotocol Functionality and M12 Power Plugs: Now Also with Integrated Eight-Way IO-Link Master

The Standard for I4.0 Solutions: The new Ethernet IO modules from Pepperl+Fuchs support all common Ethernet protocols, such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, in a single device. The integrated IO-Link master function allows comprehensive diagnosis and parameterization. The L-coded M12 power plug provides a current of up to 16 A and reduces installation costs. Modules with an integrated logic function can tackle autonomous applications, completely replace control panels, or deal only with status messages. As such, these fieldbus modules form the foundation for Industry 4.0 solutions.

R100 and R101

The R100 and R101 are available in standard, assembly-compatible housing designs and offer photoelectric sensors for both detection and measurement. They include thru-beam sensors, retroreflective sensors, including those with polarization filter, foreground suppression or for detection of transparent objects, energetic reflection light scanners and those with background suppression, as well as light barriers and distance sensors for measurement tasks.
