The O' Porto Rotondo Offshore Classic Edition "Powered by FPT" was held in the waters of Porto Rotondo in Sardinia, from August 20 - 22. This prestigious, deep-sea fishing competition for imperial needlefish, was promoted by FPT Industrial.

The partnership between FPT Industrial and the Fishing Division of the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club, in Sardinia, was officially inaugurated on July 9, 2020. The event was commemorated with the installation of a permanent plaque next to the main entrance of the clubhouse.

FPT Industrial’s joint venture in China, SFH (SAIC Fiat Hongyan Powertrain Co Ltd), is celebrating a new record for the number of engines produced during a single month at its manufacturing facility in Chongqing. In May, the plant recorded an increase in engine output of 6% on the previous record, which was set the month before.

At the end of May, SIH (Saic-Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle), a joint-venture between SAIC, IVECO and CQME, delivered 120 SIH Geylon M500 4x2 port tractors, powered by 350 HP Cursor 9 engines manufactured by SFH, joint-venture of FPT Industrial in Chongqing, China, to SIPG (Shanghai International Port Group), the world’s largest container port logistics operator, as well the largest joint-stock port operator in China, serving 281 worldwide shipping routes and accommodating over 2,700 calls per month.
