Konecranes has signed contracts with Yilport for the delivery of Automated RTG systems to three of Yilport’s European container terminals, two in Portugal and one in Sweden. Automated RTG operation is coming of age in Europe, driven by Konecranes. The order was booked in December 2019.
In the last quarter of 2019, Rhenus Logistics B.V. (Rhenus) ordered an eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 Mobile Harbor Crane for their operations at the Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal, Maasvlakte in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. With commissioning planned for May and handover by June 2020, the crane will handle general, heavylift & project cargo and expand the terminal’s container handling capacity. Equipped with an external power supply, it brings Konecranes’ Powered by Ecolifting to a new market.
Konecranes has expanded its Lift Trucks with Ecolifting reach in Australia, winning an order from Intermodal Group for five additional reach stackers equipped with Flow Drive and one empty container handler for double stacking.
Konecranes will provide two refuse cranes to Avertas Energy, Australia’s first energy-from-waste facility in Kwinana, Western Australia. The order was booked in July 2019, with delivery planned for June 2020.
Pacific Logistic LLC ordered a second eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Model 3 Portal Harbor Crane for their Sollers Terminal in Vladivostok, Russia. After handover in late autumn 2020, the crane will expand capacity for handling containers of automotive parts and common consumption goods.
Konecranes has supplied two eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Cranes to Belgian logistics and transportation firm Zuidnatie Breakbulk. The order included a Model 3 and a Model 7 crane.
Konecranes has won an order from Tanger Alliance, Tangier for 16 Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes. The cranes will be delivered in batches with the last ones arriving by mid-July 2020. The order was booked in May 2019.
