Sales of Magnetising Equipment in 2021 hit an all-time record high for Bunting’s Berkhamsted, UK operation. The success is the result of ongoing development of a wide range of bench-top and industrial magnetisers, as well as magnet setters.

The separation and recovery of fine and small metal is vital for the successful recycling of e-waste. On stand 314 at the E-Waste World Conference & Expo (30 November – 1 December 2021, Frankfurt Messe, Germany), Bunting is showcasing advanced metal separation technology specifically used in the recycling of electronics.

With the Ecomondo Green Technology Expo encompassing the circular economy, the Bunting stand (hall A2 stand 007) focuses on material recycling through material and metal separation to neodymium magnet recovery.

Bunting has invested in expanding their Test and Development Centre at Berkhamsted in the UK where they specialise in the design, test and build of a wide range of magnet and magnetic technologies.

The new Shredder Feeder Conveyor from Bunting-Redditch combines with either a magnetic separator or metal detector to protect a shredder or granulator from metal damage.

Bunting’s newly extended manufacturing facility in Redditch, UK houses a world-leading testing and laboratory centre. The new Customer Experience Centre focuses on material separation with a wide range of high-intensity magnetic separators, eddy current separators and a revolutionary electrostatic separator.

Bunting-Redditch has completed the manufacture and supply of three (3) magnetic separators and one (1) eddy current separator to recover metals in an overseas recycling plant designed and installed by CRS NI Ltd.

Efficient and proven methods of removing metal during plastics manufacture or recycling is showcased on Bunting’s ‘Protect, Prevent & Purify’ stand (H11) at the Interplas plastics exhibition (28th to 30th September, NEC, Birmingham, UK).

Successful implementation of an overseas business development strategy has resulted in orders from Italy for a bespoke Industrial Magnetiser, complete with control cabinet, and a Magnet Setter. Bunting’s UK engineering design team will design, build and test the magnetisers, control and magnet setter.
