The Emitech Group is expanding its activities in the field of electric mobility with test facilities dedicated to hydrogen fuel cells and equipments

The Emitech Group offers a variety and a number of unique test facilities in France, constantly evolving with the aim of supporting its customers’ innovation, in particular in the field of electric mobility. The Group already has significant test facilities available in this field. For example there is the EMCEM facility, which aims to characterize an electric vehicle motor from the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) point of view, as well as test benches for high-voltage (HV) batteries, power electronics, calculators etc. It announces new equipment and facilities for tests in the field of hydrogen (fuel cells systems, tanks + valves). The implementation of the hydrogen sector by several stakeholders and regions in France is a strong axis of the energy transition.

Emitech Group on the road to test the vehicles of today and tomorrow

The Emitech Group has just acquired Vitesco Technologies’ technical center in Osny (95). This new test center reinforces the Emitech Group's testing capabilities, in particular for the validation of all vehicle technologies and more specifically its powertrain.

Lefae is qualified for testing in explosive atmosphere

Lefae is the Emitech Group's laboratory specializing in environmental testing with severe constraints: fire testing and combined climatic testing. Based in Saint-Chamond in the Rhône-Alpes region, it has just qualified a new testing facility for verifying the conformity of equipment installed in potentially explosive zones (equivalent to ATEX requirements) in the presence of hydrocarbon fluids and vapours. Conditions of explosivity are often found in the aeronautics industry, but also in the automotive and marine industries.

EMC joins the Emitech Group

The Emitech Group is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and we will be pleased to start 2019 with a new exceptional acquisition, both in terms of size and ambition: EMC France joined the Emitech Group on March 28.

Installation of a new, large-volume, biaxial seismic bench at Environne'Tech.

In 2017, Environne'Tech, Emitech Group started off its industrial project "Bourgoin-Jallieu 2020" with an extension to its test centre for equipment qualification and environmental testing. The new 800 m2 building is 10 m high and designed for testing large-volume specimens such as aeronautic or rail components, as well as complete vehicles or major installations. It is equipped with special facilities such as a 93 m3 climate chamber and very recently, a large-volume seismic bench has been added to the existing equipment.

Environne'Tech invests in a climate chamber for large volumes and extreme temperatures.

Already last year, on its 30th anniversary Environne'Tech (Emitech Group) announced that the Bourgoin-Jallieu 2020 project would begin with the expansion of its centre for equipment qualification and environmental tests. The new building, with a floor area of 800 m2 and a height of 10 m is designed to handle voluminous test subjects such as aeronautic parts, entire vehicles or bulky installations. By 13 November, the first test campaign was started in a new, purpose-built, 93 m3 climate chamber, which complements the existing equipment.
