Carrier Transicold Presents at Solutrans 2025

Carrier Transicold will present its comprehensive portfolio of solutions combining efficiency, sustainability and reliability at Solutrans 2025, held Nov. 18-22 at Lyon EUREXPO.

Carrier Transicold Solutrans 2025 Highlights
The [R]eCool plug-in battery retrofit system for Vector® refrigeration units enables operators to convert diesel-powered semi-trailers to hybrid or fully electric operation. This solution reduces emissions, lowers fuel costs and minimizes noise, while enhancing fleet value. Certified to R100 standards, [R]eCool leverages Addvolt’s advanced power electronic technology, with a battery pack expected to deliver a lifespan of more than 12 years. Attendees can view live demonstrations of [R]eCool at Carrier Transicold’s outdoor display.

Carrier Transicold’s eCool-Drive is the first power converter designed for electric tractor units, transforming high-voltage direct current from the tractor’s battery into the alternating current for refrigeration units. This technology, presented at Solutrans, electrifies existing diesel refrigeration units and enables seamless connection between any refrigerated semi-trailer and a 100% electric tractor.

Carrier Transicold will also showcase the Syberia 14 eCool unit, a fully electric solution for medium and heavy trucks, along with the Pulsor 400 E unit on a Renault Master e-Tech van, a convenient solution for fully electric deliveries, which is ideal for food producers. From the High Efficiency (HE) range, Carrier Transicold will showcase the award-winning Vector 19 low carbon dioxide (CO₂) trailer refrigeration system, the Vector HE 17, which is one of the best total cost of ownership units in its category, and the Supra HE 13 Multi-Temperature unit, designed for straight trucks and is now B100 biodiesel compatible.

Visitors can also preview the new fuel-optimized version of the Vector HE 19 that incorporates an advanced control system and an intermediate engine speed of 1,500 rpm, reducing fuel consumption by up to 19% in real-world operating conditions compared to units without the feature, while maintaining precise temperature control. This upgrade will be available as a retrofit for existing fleets in 2026.

Carrier Transicold’s Lynx Fleet digital telematics platform now features real-time monitoring of CO₂ emissions and fuel costs, with reporting aligned to regulatory frameworks such as VECTO. An intelligent recommendation engine offers tailored measures to improve energy efficiency and support progress toward European climate objectives.

Finally, at this year’s Solutrans, Carrier Transicold will preview its digital marketplace with more than 20,000 parts and accessories and expanding soon across Europe.
