Danfoss Power Solutions has launched the Aeroquip by Danfoss FC619C Corrugated Suction Hose, designed for hydraulic suction and return applications. The hose combines high flexibility, resistance to vacuum collapse and enhanced abrasion protection, supporting installation in space-constrained hydraulic systems used in mobile machinery and industrial equipment.

Flexible Design for Tight Installation Spaces
The FC619C hose features a tightly corrugated structure that provides a one-to-one bend radius. This configuration allows the hose to bend with minimal force, simplifying routing in compact hydraulic assemblies where limited space can complicate installation.

Reduced bending force also lowers mechanical stress on fittings and connections during installation and operation, contributing to longer component life and easier maintenance procedures.

Reinforced Construction and Abrasion Protection
The hose construction includes a nitrile inner tube surrounded by a helical support wire placed between two layers of textile reinforcement. This structure provides resistance to vacuum collapse and buckling in suction line applications where negative pressure conditions occur.

The outer cover uses a DuraTUFF+ abrasion-resistant material designed to deliver up to 100 times the abrasion resistance of standard rubber hose covers. Enhanced abrasion protection helps prevent damage in environments where hoses are exposed to mechanical contact with equipment structures or debris.

Operating Range and Standards Compliance
The FC619C hose is engineered for a wide operating temperature range from –40 °C to 135 °C (–40 °F to 275 °F). The material composition supports high-temperature hydraulic fluid applications while maintaining flexibility in low-temperature environments.

The hose exceeds requirements defined in SAE 100R4 and ISO 18752 standards for hydraulic suction hoses. Chemical resistance and Class 0 leakage performance in accordance with SAE J1176 support reliable, leak-free operation across demanding industrial environments.
