LFB Group Strengthens Its Refrigeration Portfolio Through Strategic Investment in SKK Manufacturing
Lyon, July 30th 2026, LFB Group, a portfolio company of Syntagma Capital, has announced a strategic investment in Portuguese refrigeration specialist SKK Manufacturing, operating under the KoolSys brand, reinforcing its refrigeration portfolio and supporting its continued growth across the EMEA region.

KoolSys designs and manufactures transcritical CO₂ refrigeration rack systems for commercial and industrial applications. The company has been a partner and supplier to Friga-Bohn, LFB Group’s refrigeration brand, since 2023.
This investment marks a new step in the collaboration between the companies. It combines KoolSys’ expertise in CO₂ rack systems with Friga-Bohn’s product portfolio, industrial expertise and commercial presence.
The investment is part of LFB Group’s M&A strategy, supported by Syntagma Capital, to strengthen Friga-Bohn’s offering, complete its refrigeration portfolio and accelerate its growth in the European commercial and industrial refrigeration markets with natural refrigerant solutions.
