AquaForce® Vision 30KAV Launched at Carrier Core Innovation Events
Carrier is pleased to announce the new AquaForce Vision 30KAV range made its way through Europe at Carrier Core Innovation, a touring exhibit that passed through six European cities this summer. The AquaForce Vision 30KAV liquid chiller with Greenspeed® Intelligence is the newest and one of the most advanced chillers that Carrier offers. At Carrier Core Innovation, Carrier displayed the first ever, true-to-size chiller montage with an integrated 360° video. Carrier Core Innovation in Montluel
The focal point of the Carrier Core Innovation event was a life-size replica of an AquaForce Vision chiller. Inside the replica, 360° video from six projectors played so customers could come face to face with the new technology. The outside of the model served as a life-size visual rendering of the volume of the components of the chiller. The impressive display gave audiences the unique experience of walking into a chiller. The tour took place in six different cities throughout Europe, starting in Essen, Berlin, Madrid, Rome, London and finishing in Montluel at the UTC Center of Excellence for Chillers.
The AquaForce Vision 30KAV liquid chiller with Greenspeed Intelligence is a cutting-edge solution for commercial and industrial applications. The range offers a nominal cooling capacity of 500 kW up to 1100 kW with R134a refrigerant. In continuity with the innovation of this new range, the PUREtecTM HFO R-1234ze refrigerant version (30KAVze) will be launched later in 2018.
Carrier’s AquaForce Vision 30KAV achieves outstanding energy performance. Equipped with variable-speed screw compressors and variable-speed fans - AC as standard and EC as an option – as well as optional variable-speed pumps, Carrier’s AquaForce Vision 30KAV automatically adjusts the cooling capacity and water flow to perfectly match the needs of the building or process load variations. The result is optimal operation at both full load and part load. This new range of chillers has a SEER of up to 5.73, a Eurovent-certified European Seasonal Efficiency Ratio (ESEER) of up to 5.4 in cooling mode, and an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of up to 3.5 at full load. 30KAV offers energy efficiency up to 40% higher than the 30GX range with the same footprint.
