Easy CIATControl
Easy CIATControl is the latest-generation control system designed by CIAT. It provides control of all aspects of Hysys modular water circulation solutions: energy production, room units and air quality. Easy CIATControl’s touch-screen interface makes it very easy to optimize the management of heating, summer climate control and air quality systems by unit, by room or by zone, as needed. Particularly suitable for small and medium building areas (500 to 2500 sq. m), Easy CIATControl is the ideal control system for office buildings, hotels, and homes for the elderly.
Easy CIATControl is a universal solution: it places the HYSYS system under full supervision and control with regard to energy production and room units, but also the quality of the air supplied by the Floway dual-flow heat recovery system. Easy CIATControl supports the two open communication protocols Modbus, for energy production and air quality, and KNX for the room units.
While competing solutions usually provide control by zone, Easy CIATControl can define the parameters for each room and each unit of the system. Individual freely-adjustable settings mean that an optimal environment can be defined in each room to obtain a perfect balance between the needs for comfort and the economic requirements of the building. The system is managed to within a degree with maximum energy efficiency.
Easy CIATControl’s new graphic interface stands out by its advanced ergonomics, very simple to use for the occupant or for the operator managing the building. For example, times are programmed by simply sliding a finger on the screen to select time periods, and the software automatically suggests cutting and pasting these settings to the other days of the week, immediately transmitting the information to an office, a zone or the entire building.
Easy CIATControl has been designed for simple setup for immediate management of the building. It is fitted with plug-in screw terminals and does not require any adapter or bridge, allowing direct connection. If the layout of the spaces changes, Easy CIATControl very simply incorporates the possible modifications and the new equipment.
Easy CIATControl manages the system with two access levels: occupant to set the comfort level in each office, and operator for building maintenance or operating companies.
Easy CIATControl can also manage up to 60 room units fitted with V3000 controllers. Master/slave functions (meeting rooms, entrance hall, etc.) can be defined, as well as limitation of electrical heating as a function of the outside temperature. Easy CIATControl automatically transmits water temperature information to the room units when the seasons change (centralized changeover). An energy optimization function is provided for when windows are opened, along with night-time over-ventilation. A large range of hourly, daily and weekly programming settings are of course available. Easy CIATControl has a wide 10.4" (26.4 cm) colour LCD screen with 800 x 600 pixel resolution.
Easy CIATControl is part of the CIATControl range, which will soon be extended with Smart CIATControl (energy performance and optimized maintenance) and Master CIATControl (fully-graphic universal solution for overall performance).
