Innotrans press conference: The French Railway Track Expertise

The Infrastructure Group of the French Federation of Railway Industries invites you to its press conference, to be held on Thursday 23 September 2010 at 2 pm at the Press Centre, Hall 6.3, Conference Room B, at the InnoTrans Fair in Berlin.

Involved in most of the major projects around the world, such as the East European High Speed Line – the first interoperable high speed line in Europe – along with High Speed One and the Cairo metro, the Group achieved total turnover of 1 700 000 000 euros in 2009, 40% of which came from exports, and employs more than 7000 personnel, of whom 2700 work outside France.

Its success is the result of the decades of experience it has built up on the world’s greatest networks, coupled with massive investment in research and development, which has led to many innovations. Group members are able to supply the whole range of railway line components and to provide infrastructure installation and maintenance covering very high speed, heavy freight, mixed traffic (freight and passenger) and urban lines.

What are the latest innovations in railway infrastructure? How can the service life of lines be increased whilst reducing maintenance? What expertise and services can infrastructure managers expect to receive from the Group’s companies? Its Chairman, along with top managers of the 13 companies which make up the group, will be on hand to answer your questions. The companies represented are ALR, Colas Rail, Corus Rail, Européenne de Travaux ferroviaires, Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires, FLB, Matisa, Railtech International, Sateba, Stradal, TenCate Géosynthétics, TSO and Vossloh Cogifer.
