Automation Technology IRSX
A stand-alone solution for thermal machine vision.
The IRSX Smart Infrared Camera, from Automation Technology has been designed for Industry 4.0. With a powerful data processing unit, a calibrated thermal imaging sensor, an IP67 housing and a variety of industrial interfaces - the self-contained system is perfect for industrial thermal imaging applications.
Industrial communication and control
The IRSX cameras feature a multitude of protocols, including HTTPS, Modbus TCP, Profinet, OPC-UA and MQTT. They also have digital I/Os for control and alarms as well as an encoder interface, e.g. for part tracking on variable speed lines.
User friendly web interface
Thanks to a powerful, user-friendly web interface, configuring the IRSX camera is intuitive, easy and cameras can be set up for thermal monitoring tasks in no time without programming skills. You can adjust the display parameters, measurement tools and how the results are processed - all within the web-based configurator.
High performance and flexibility
The IRSX range includes models with different fields of view, resolutions and frame rates - providing you with the flexibility to select a camera configuration that perfectly matches your application requirements. With their embedded data processing unit, the cameras provide reliable performance even in the most challenging applications.
Application specific packages
A growing number of application-specific app packages are available, such as an app for substation monitoring with a correspondingly optimised visualisation and a SCADA protocol established in this area, DNP3.
The visualisation can be specifically adapted via the REST-API. This is implemented according to the OpenAPI standard, making it easy to adapt the visualisation for customer-specific applications. Users can create their “own website” or import the data supplied by the cameras into an existing website.
