Optronis CamPerform Cyclone
High-Speed cameras with a bandwidth of up to 50Gb per second.
The CamPerform-Cyclone series cameras are high-speed cameras for machine vision applications. The cameras use the fast CoaXPress 2.0 interface to transmit data at up to 12.5 Gb per second and per channel. Up to 4 channels can be combined to reach a bandwidth of 50 Gb per second. High-performance image sensors are integrated without compromising speed due to limited transfer rate.
With a resolution up to 4672 x 3416 pixel and frame rates up to 2200 fps the Cyclone is suitable for measuring applications that extend to the nano range and product speeds that are barely visible to the eye.
The frame rate can be increased by reducing the scan window (ROI) achieving 250,000 Images per second at a resolution of 256 x 8 pixels. The extremely fast global shutter enables shutter speeds in the range of 2 s and providing sharp images of objects at extremely high speeds.
Image data is divided into separate packets and transmitted to the PC via four parallel coaxial channels at approximately 12 GB/s. Using Standard coax cables, data is transmitted in a cost-effective way over lengths up to 40 meters at the full data rate. As special frame grabbers and capable PCs are required for these cameras, we recommend speaking to us about your application to check on the preconditions needed to use these cameras.
High-performance CoaXPress interface
With the 4x CoaXpress interfaces this camera can acheive image data transmission at speeds of up to 12.5 Gb per second (per channel). The interfaces also meet the Japan Industrial Imaging Association (JIIA) quality standards.
