AGEO+: New glycol-water/water heat pump
With a long history in the geothermal energy market, CIAT is pursuing its development in this area and presents its latest advance: AGEO+, a glycol-water/water ground source heat pump for new housing and small tertiary applications. AGEO+ innovates thanks to its exceptional thermal, acoustic and energy performance, in particular with a 50% reduction in auxiliary system electricity consumption compared with previous ranges.
Based on a design integrating all the components necessary for its operation, AGEO+ connects easily to underfloor heating systems or low-temperature radiators. There are ten models in the range, from 6 to 36 kW, capable of heating water up to 60 °C. Equipped with the optional SANI 300L tank, it produces domestic hot water, reducing the energy required by more than 50%. AGEO+ is reversible, providing cooling in the summer without the need to add other equipment. The improved energy performance of AGEO+ is achieved principally through the use of “class A” circulators fitted to the primary and secondary circuits of the low-power models. The heat exchangers have been resized, and new-generation starters have been added. These changes enable AGEO+ to achieve COP values of up to 5.21 and position it as a range with an excellent quality-price ratio.
This new performance is guaranteed by the French NFPAC heat pump industry label that has been obtained for a broad spectrum of test points. AGEO+ is certified at the following test points: 10/7 °C - 30/35 °C and 10/07 °C - 40/45 °C, validating the performance of AGEO+ in groundwater mode, and 0/-3 °C - 30/35 °C and 0/-3 °C - 40/45 °C for performance with horizontal or vertical collectors.
Lastly, AGEO+ features enhanced acoustic protection, making it ultra-silent when in operation.
