Costs under control with optional internal and external modules: SK 200E inverter series for distributed applications enables precise configuration
Distributed automation applications place wide-ranging demands on drive systems. Optimal solutions will, by necessity, be those that fulfil the functional and cost needs for a specific application. Available in a wide range of performance grades and with many upgrade options, SK 200E series frequency inverters from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS allow users to select customized solutions with features and costs that are tailored to their specific requirements. The modular inverter series is available in size 1 to 4 with a performance between 0.25 and 22 kW, cost-efficiently covering distributed applications ranging from simple control tasks to complex positioning.
Expansion options include external braking resistors and a separate 24 V power supply for stand-alone control voltage operation. Furthermore, NORD provides I/O modules that allow for the detection and transfer of sensor and actuator signals as well as communication interfaces (with and without I/Os) for CANopen, DeviceNet, Profibus, PROFINET and EtherCAT. Interfaces for the Industrial Ethernet standards POWERLINK and EtherNet/IP are under preparation. Expansion options are available as external technology units for straightforward and versatile installation either directly on the device, or on a machine frame or plant component. Alternatively, they are available as internal modules that extend the integrated functional range without altering the dimensions of the inverter. A ParameterBox with a control panel and a plain text display enables control, configuration and diagnostics. It also allows for the direct connection of a PC via a USB port. Another option for quick configuration and diagnostics is the SimpleBox which has a control panel with a four-digit, seven-segment display. In addition to the 24 V power supply for stand-alone operation, NORD also provides the PotiBox with robust controls for clockwise/counterclockwise operation and a setpoint potentiometer. Detailed information about the basic equipment, optional modules and applications is available at the website www.sk200e.de.
