£2 million investment confirms Crestchic’s commitment to global load testing rental market

Crestchic, an international leader in load testing solutions, has responded to continued growth in demand for its loadbank rental services with a £2 million investment in a new, dedicated state-of-the-art rental facility.

Located close to its global headquarters and manufacturing facility in Burton on Trent, UK, the new 26,000 sq ft (2,400 m²) facility will provide a single base for the load testing rental operation which had outgrown its previous premises.

The new facility features dedicated areas for loadbank service and repair and container storage with a separate office building handling sales and rental administration.

Divisional Rental Manager Chris Caldwell explained: “The new facility is key to our ambitious growth plans for our UK and international load testing project businesses, and for attracting new customers and the highest calibre staff.

“On any given day, we can deploy units as small as 30kW for a day up to a large 50MVA high voltage package going to the other side of the world for an extended project – the new, larger facility will only help our ability to provide a rapid, responsive and professional service to our growing global customer base.”

Crestchic loadbanks are sold and rented to a range of customers worldwide, primarily in the oil and gas, marine, data centre and power generation sectors.
