Emerson Launches Two New HVAC on Air Podcast Series Focused on Technology and Regulatory Updates
Podcasts highlight industry trends and upcoming refrigerant and efficiency regulations to help support contractors and their customers.
Two new podcast series recently launched by Emerson (NYSE: EMR) will focus on upcoming energy efficiency and refrigerant regulations as well as industry trends and contractor support. Tech Experts and What’s New with Regs will broadcast on Emerson’s HVAC on AIR podcast channel, and the two new series will alternate weekly episodes to feature a variety of timely and relevant topics and guests
Upcoming Tech Experts podcast episodes will cover trends in technology such as electronics and modulation; education; effective troubleshooting; and protecting contractors’ reputations. In the first Tech Experts episode, Emerson experts John Roberts and James Stevenson discuss a variety of topics for in-the-field support including reaching Copeland Technical Services and tips for effective use of the Copeland Mobile app. Stevenson and Roberts both support the service engineering business, and each has more than 20 years of experience with Emerson.
“Now more than ever, contractors are seeking ways to be more efficient in the field, between challenges inherent to the skilled trades gap in the workforce and customers’ expectations for one-call resolution,” said Becky Hoelscher, director, aftermarket sales, air conditioning for Emerson. “Emerson is committed to providing ongoing resources to support contractors, and these new podcast series provide a great opportunity for them to stay up to date with the latest in technology trends, troubleshooting and upcoming efficiency and refrigerant regulations.”
The What’s New with Regs series will be hosted by Emerson’s Lindsay Headings with co-host Jennifer Butsch, regulatory affairs manager, and will cover ongoing trends and changes related to both energy efficiency and refrigerant regulations that continue to shape the future of the HVACR industry. Leveraging her involvement with a number of industry organizations including Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Butsch will provide updates on evolving federal and state regulations impacting HVACR contractors and the industry as a whole.
Unique to the Tech Experts series, listeners will have an opportunity to submit questions to be answered in subsequent podcasts. The series will also feature a question of the week, along with a chance to win a Copeland t-shirt by submitting a response to the question.
New episodes for both series, along with previously aired podcast episodes, can be accessed on HVAC on Air. Listeners can also subscribe on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
