Balluff receives third recognition from Bosch

Robert Bosch GmbH awards Balluff GmbH, sensor specialist and connectivity provider from Neuhausen a. d. Fildern, the "Preferred Supplier" status. This is the third time in a row Balluff has been recognized.

The distinction is awarded to suppliers who have made a considerable contribution to the success of Bosch through their particular competence and service. One essential criterion for selection was overall flexibility. Balluff stood out because it had successfully implemented numerous customized projects and therefore set itself apart from the competition.

The designation is part of the purchasing strategy of the Bosch Group by means of which the company aims to bundle its purchasing volume and strategically organize its suppliers. The goal is to simplify the purchasing and procurement process and to maximize the purchasing volume of all Bosch plants worldwide with the so-called "Preferred Suppliers". Bosch re-examines the Preferred Supplier status every year.
