INTERNATIONAL SPECIALISED EXHIBITION IN MOSCOW PLAYS HOST TO ROBOTICS TECHNOLOGIES
OKUMA PRESENTS ITS AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS AT METALLOOBRABOTKA 2021.
Renowned provider of CNC machine tools Okuma Europe GmbH is set to present sophisticated robotics technologies at this year's Metalloobrabotka. The 21st iteration of the metalworking industry's international trade event will take place in Moscow from 24 to 28 May 2021. Three innovative machines with intelligent automation features await visitors to Okuma's booth.
With around 1,200 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors from all over the world, Metalloobrabotka is a leading international specialist fair for technology, machines and tools used in the metalworking industry. As it has in previous years, Okuma will once again travel to the Russian capital to establish the company and its solutions even more firmly on the Eastern European market.
Focus on automation
Okuma will occupy a 140 m2 booth at Moscow’s Expocentre, where it will present a number of innovations from its automated manufacturing solutions portfolio. “We are looking forward to giving visitors an in-depth look into our flexible automation solutions in various ways, including live demonstrations. We will exhibit three of our latest machine tools that represent viable and worthwhile options for even small and medium-sized companies to get involved in robotics technologies,” says Dmitri Moor, a product specialist at Okuma, looking ahead to the event.
The MB-46VAE STANDROID, designed for use in tool and mould making, stands out thanks to its rigid gantry structure, which requires little floor space, and its easy-to-use robot control. The GENOS L3000 horizontal universal lathe is an ideal entry-level model for small and medium-sized companies, which offers outstanding machining performance for all batch sizes. And for single parts and small and medium batch sizes, Okuma will also present its successful LB3000EX II ARMROID lathe, which is combined with the ARMROID jointed-arm robot for maximum automation.
