SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES ANTENNA TEST LABORATORY IS LAUNCHED

SEGULA Technologies has started operating a state-of-the-art antenna test laboratory. The Engineering Group is thus expanding its range of services and offering customers an additional testing facility in the field of e-mobility at the Engineering Campus in Rüsselsheim.

SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES ANTENNA TEST LABORATORY IS LAUNCHED

With the new antenna test laboratory – a completely reflection-free room – SEGULA Technologies covers the entire range of modern antenna tests for vehicles. This laboratory ensures the usefulness and correct design of the wireless communication world, which includes mobile radio, W-LAN, radar, Bluetooth and many more. With a hall size of 10.5m high, 14m wide and 12m deep, the facility offers space for near- and far-field measurements of all vehicle models and components.

“The interest in our state-of-the-art antenna test lab is strong. This is because our customers, which include OEM’s and Tier1 suppliers, achieve faster more reliable antenna performance results here than through conventional test drives. This saves them valuable time and resources in the development process to get their next generation vehicles ready with respect to all connectivity and vehicle-to-X features,” explains Andreas Prillmann, Chief Sales Officer at SEGULA Technologies in Germany. Part of the new customer offering is the antenna engineering expertise of the development and test engineers. “Our customers value our expertise in terms of creating test specifications, designing test setups, troubleshooting and optimization.” In addition, direct far-field measurements and a wide variety of use cases can be developed and tested in a private 5G network at the test center operated by SEGULA Technologies in Rodgau-Dudenhofen, just 30 km from Frankfurt Airport – all within a real, secure and reliable environment.
