NEW EAO SERIES 09 RUGGED KEYPADS WITH 8 PUSHBUTTONS

As a leading manufacturer of application-specific and ergonomic HMI components and systems in the automotive industry, EAO expands its Series 09 Rugged Keypads to include a new 8 pushbutton, IP6K9K sealed keypad with interchangeable legends.

Just like the 6 pushbutton rugged keypads, the new versions with 8 pushbuttons also feature impressive, freely configurable 4-segment RGB halo ring illumination, which enables the indication of operating states and – depending on the application – intelligent visual feedback from the keypad. The flexibility regarding the application is rounded off by interchangeable ISO7000 or customer-specific symbols and the possibility of coloured symbol inserts.

The high protection rating of up to IP6K9K provides the highest level of robustness and makes these keypads ideal for outdoor use on various construction or specialty vehicles - even in extreme, harsh conditions.

In line with the existing Series 09 Rugged Keypads, the 8 pushbutton keypads are also available in three variants: SUPER, PLUS and BASIC. They are all designed and manufactured in accordance with the well-known automotive standard IATF 16949. They have a modular design and allow easy mounting via clip-in or screw fastening.
