Broadcom Inc. announced the availability of the industry’s most secure and highest density Gen 7 64G Fibre Channel Director— the 512-port and 256-port Brocade X7 Directors. The company also announced the Brocade 7850 Extension Switch, the industry’s first 64G Fibre Channel switch, extending SANs over virtually any distance across the globe.
