Dunkermotoren and MAE are exhibiting at a new hall during sps Nuremberg

The sps Nuremberg show, running from November 14 – 16, 2023, is the place to be for executives in the automation industry and shows the latest automation and IIoT solutions.

Those are also presented at the Dunkermotoren and MAE booth. Thetwo AMETEK companies are at their new booth in hall 4-481.

Dunkermotoren presents its servoline gearbox PLG 75 SL at the sps show for the first time. With the tested quality, performance, and a life of >20,000 hours it is the perfect match for the drive technology manufacturer’s long-lasting DC motors.

In the BLDC portfolio, the BG 45 dPro is presented as the newest member of the Motor Control Platform (MCP). The MCP is a modular concept installed in all smart Dunkermotoren BG motors and some external control electronics and enables the programming of diverse parameters and safety functions. Like all BG dPro motors, the BG 45 dPro impresses with the integration of the complete motor electronics into the very compact housing. With a continuous output power of up to 110 W and speeds up to 4,720 rpm, the motor is stronger than its predecessors even at same voltages.

Complementary to the smart motors and controllers, the IIoT brand nexofox is showing how product data can easily be provided as a digital twin in the future thanks to administration shells. In cooperation with partners such as conplement, Endress & Hauser, Kübler, ifm and AS-Schneider and together with the Open Industry 4.0 alliance, a solution has been developed to provide management shells in a standardized and manufacturer-independent manner. For classic IIoT use cases, nexofox is driving forward the Dunkermotoren modular concept in the meantime. With nexoLink, nexofox launches a new basis module for easy implementation of all Dunkermotoren IIoT offers. Additionally, the brand gives an outlook on a coming expansion of SmartDiagnotics with a predictive maintenance tool for sensorless monitoring of the gearbox wear. The new BGE 8060 dPro controller is presented as additional highligt, which is a high-performance extension of the BGE 5510 dPro.

For driverless transportation systems, Dunkermotoren is introducing the NG 100 WO hub gearbox. The combination of motor and gearbox has a height of just 95 mm, thus allows vehicles with a particularly low underride height. Thanks to the axle offset, the drives can be installed side-by-side, which reduces the width of AGVs to only 600 mm and increases the load- and acceleration capacity. In times when space is an important cost factor, Dunkermotoren has provided a solution for space- and cost-efficient logistics solutions.

The sister company MAE, on the other hand, is focusing on another very important trend: Local sourcing. MAE has fully committed to this trend and produces its products exclusively in Europe. Combined with brakes, encoders, gearboxes, and electronics, MAE's stepper motor portfolio can be flexibly combined to create suitable drive solutions for use in various applications. The new, integrated sGo electronics offer a cost-optimized control solution for Nema 17 and Nema 23 sizes.

Do not miss: On November 14th, 2023, Franz Vogt, Head of Regional Sales at Dunkermotoren will explain at 09:30 a.m. within the speakers sessions of sps show, to what extent a DC servo motor can replace an AC servo motor.
