FLIR Release New One Edge Thermal Imager
FLIR’s new infrared camera is compatible with both iOS and Android smart devices and uploads high-quality images directly to the cloud is now available at Conrad Sourcing Platform.
Designed for use as a stand-alone and as a smart device attachment: FLIR’s One Edge Thermal Imager.
- Works both as a stand-alone and connected to smart devices
- Wireless iOS and Android connectivity
- Straightforward cloud-based analysis of thermal readings
When it comes to troubleshooting machinery and plant, thermal imagers are an excellent choice. They are also versatile tools on building sites: FLIR’s brand-new One Edge IR camera sports a compact design that allows taking readings in places that are hard to reach, such as attics and crawl spaces. Moreover, this handy imager accurately detects faults in engine bays and other types of confined areas usually found in vehicles.
Viewing Images on External Screens
Thanks to wireless connectivity, FLIR’s One Edge imager (now available on the Conrad Sourcing Platform) scores across the board: the IR camera hooks up with a large variety of smartphones and tablet brands, regardless of their operating system and internet service provider, forwarding the readings to the respective displays. Means, you can view and manage thermal images from a safe distance of up to five metres.
It’s That Easy: Plug In and Share
A genuine piece of innovation: Connecting the imager to a smartphone creates a compact tool that can be used with one hand. Which turns out to be really helpful as it leaves one hand free for operating other equipment, or for taking notes. Another strongpoint: the FLIR One App that makes analysing thermal images highly efficient. The app also establishes a seamless link to the FLIR Ignite cloud solution which enables sharing the readings with co-workers for collective assessments.
High Product Quality Ensures Accurate Readings
Clear and crisp images simplify data evaluation. FLIR MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology does just that, taking thermal readings in 90 x 60 (4,800 pixels)
resolution, covering a temperature range of -20 °C to 120 °C. What’s more, the camera comes with IP54 spray-proofness and can withstand falls from heights of up to two metres. Means the FLIR One Edge comes with a whole package of advantages that comprises compact design, low operating costs, easy usability and straightforward data analysis.
