EXLUX linear luminaires from R. STAHL : latest lighting technology in tried
Energy-efficient general lighting retrofits in any climate are straightforward with R. STAHL EXLUX 6002/6402 series linear luminaires

Waldenburg – Despite a familiar appearance due to their tried-and-tested fitting design, R. STAHL 6002 and 6402 series linear luminaires use the latest LED technology inside. Suitable for ceiling installation, use as pendant lights, or pole mounting, these explosion-proof devices enable particularly energy-efficient general lighting in zones 1, 21, 2 and 22. Their familiar form factor ensures that changing over from traditional linear luminaires with fluorescent tubes to LED light sources is an especially straightforward process. In photometric terms, one 52 W luminaire is fully equivalent to two conventional 36 W fluorescent lamps. However, up to 100,000 hours of operation mean they achieve a far superior service life, as well as a high luminous flux of up to 5800 lm and excellent luminaire efficiency of well over 100 lm per W.

In addition, thanks to their slim, low-profile GRP housing, the lights weigh at least one third less than widely available competing products in the same class. Series 6002 models feature "increased safety" (Ex e) type of protection, while 6402 series luminaires are "non-sparking" (Ex nA). Notable for their very robust IP66/IP67 design, the products can be used at environmental temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +55 °C. Both series feature very economical 28 W or 52 W standard versions. They are available with or without diffusers in lengths of 700 mm and 1310 mm. The current R. STAHL lighting solutions campaign provides instructive information on all crucial benefits of LED lighting compared with conventional light. The campaign website, www.stahl-explorers.com, not only features background information on LED technology and the latest news on lighting solutions, but also a series of action-packed short clips showing luminaire operation in truly extreme conditions.
