Antaira Technologies is helping industrial enterprises build the 10G network of the future by launching its new LMP-2804G-4XS and LMP-2812G-4X83 managed gigabit switches. These new high-density 1U rackmount switches are embedded with four 10G SFP+ fiber slots for connecting to an industrial backbone or high-capacity servers, along with the scalability of either 16 or 24 1G RJ45 Ethernet ports equipped with PoE+ supplying 30W per port to connected cameras, sensors, WAPs and other devices.
Addressing the requirements of modern network infrastructures, Antaira LMP-2804G-4XS and LMP-2812G-4X83 switches come with upgraded capabilities including G.8032 ERPS with <50ms recovery, IGMP snooping, VLAN, QoS, DI/DO relay support, and 802.1X authentication. As a result, their deployments are more secure, robust, and cost-effective, maximizing return on investment in transportation, security, data center, and automation use cases.
Configuration of LMP-2804G-4XS and LMP-2812G-4X83 models are:
- LMP-2804G-4XS: 24 x 1G RJ45 Ports with PoE+ (720W PoE Budget), 4 x 10G SFP+ Fiber Ports, and an operating temperature: 14°F to 149°F.
- LMP-2804G-4XS-T: 24 x 1G RJ45 Ports with PoE+ (720W PoE Budget)), 4 x 10G SFP+ Fiber Ports, and an expanded operating temperature: -40°F to 167°F.
- LMP-2812G-4X8S: 16 x 1G RJ45 Ports with PoE+ (480W PoE Budget)), 4 x 10G SFP+ Fiber Ports, 8 x 1G SFP fiber ports, and an operating temperature: 14°F to 149°F.
- LMP-2812G-4X8S: 16 x 1G RJ45 Ports with PoE+ (480W PoE Budget)), 4 x 10G SFP+ Fiber Ports, 8 x 1G SFP fiber ports, and an expanded operating temperature: -40°F to 167°F.
All four LMP-2804G-4XS and LMP-2812G-4X83 models are built to withstand extreme conditions and are hardened against vibration, shock, and electrical noise common on plant floors. Enclosed in a rugged IP30 metal housing, the switches offer extended durability thanks to no moving parts and a fanless, convection-cooled design. Dual power input enhances system reliability and uptime.
Certification for NEC Class I, Division 2 and IEC 61850-3 are pending for Antaira LMP-2804G-4XS and LMP-2812G-4X83 switches, which will open up opportunities in substation automation and hazardous locations.
