The EK30ID

The EK30ID and EKM60ID indent crimping tools impress with their wide range of applications: While the EK30ID is suitable for copper, the EKM60ID processes both copper and aluminium. A particularly practical feature is that both tools do not require any die changes, which saves time and significantly simplifies the work process. The EK30ID covers a cross-section range of 6-120 mm² with a crimping force of 30 kN and is equipped with a 10.8 V battery.

The EKM60ID even covers a cross-section range of 10-240 mm² with a crimping force of 30-60 kN, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications. The variable crimping force is generated by a double piston, which prevents smaller cross-sections from being over-crimped. A particular highlight is the integrated MRS+ function: it saves valuable time during repeat crimping by not retracting the tool completely, but stopping it at the individually set position - for maximum efficiency in every application.

The EKM60ID

An often-underestimated advantage of both tools is the indent crimping itself, which guarantees a particularly precise and material-saving connection. It offers a high level of process reliability and is therefore a reliable solution for many of applications.
Thanks to the closed, hinged and rotatable heads of both tools, handling is easy even in confined working environments.

Comfortable working is guaranteed thanks to the safe one-handed operation of the EK30ID. The low weight and compact overall length also help to prevent fatigue. The automatic return at the end of the work cycle supports correct crimping.

The EKM60ID is always ready for use and makes work easier thanks to its balanced centre of gravity and LEDs for work area lighting. The quality of the crimp is ensured by the visual and acoustic signals in the event of an error. Bluetooth supports the simple collection of data on the crimping process. The EKM60ID is certified for work from 16 square millimetres.

Both the EK30ID and the EKM60ID are particularly suitable for working on compacted conductors and have been specially designed for fine-stranded conductors in accordance with EN 60228.
