Innovations, impulses, interactions: automatica 2025 was a complete success for Nabtesco. The precision gear specialist showed pioneering robotics and drive solutions, which attracted numerous visitors to the exhibit booth. The crowd-pullers included the modular precision gear actuators and the digital strain wave gear.
The demand for smart, powerful and compact drive solutions continues unabated. This was confirmed by the impressive number of visitors to automatica 2025 in Munich – 47,500 visitors in four days – many of them heading for the Nabtesco Precision Europe GmbH booth. “The interest among the trade visitors in our products and services was tremendous. We exhibited the entire Nabtesco range from 7 to 70,000 Nm – which was exactly what the customers were interested in,” explains Daniel Obladen, Director Sales & Marketing at Nabtesco Precision Europe GmbH: “On the one hand is the demand for innovative drive concepts and the trend toward miniaturisation, especially in the area of humanoid robots. On the other hand, there is also pressure from the economy in the form of “good enough” products. Nabtesco can provide both!”
The actuators and the digital strain wave gear were the crowd-pullers
The trade show exhibits ranged from the small SCARA robot with a world innovation in decentralised motor control for precision actuators to an exoskeleton for paraplegics, as well as a genuine high-tech robot for use in painting technology – all examples of Nabtesco’s high level of solution competence for robotics & automation. Especially the modular precision gear actuators – complete, pre-assembled drive systems with a high level of customisation – and the digital strain wave gear, which integrates smart sensors with no increase in size, were among the crowd-pullers. In addition, the drive unit with a Mecanum wheel for mobile automation concepts, the small, zero backlash strain wave gears, and the robust, high-torque cycloidal gears attracted a great deal of interest.
Intensive encounters, exciting projects, and new contacts
All in all, the upshot was positive for Nabtesco: “automatica 2025 was a complete success for us. We welcomed numerous visitors to our booth, talked about many exciting ideas for projects, and look forward to the numerous new contacts we established,” Daniel Obladen concludes. “We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, showing interest in our technologies and taking the time to talk to us. The enthusiasm, the questions, and the interest of our visitors, customers, and partners really inspired us, making the trade show one of the year’s major highlights. We look forward to carrying on the dialogue and working together to reap the full potential of the projects.”
