ANDRITZ to Supply New Needlepunch Line
ANDRITZ will supply a complete needlepunch line to Mistra-Autex AS in Estonia, which will increase productivity by more than five times and produce high-quality nonwovens for the automotive industry.

The scope of supply includes all machinery from the carding stage to the end-of-line section. The line features the patented ANDRITZ ProWin™ web optimization system in a closed-loop configuration. This system will enable Mistra-Autex to achieve high end-product quality by ensuring optimal fiber distribution across the line.
With this investment, Mistra-Autex is taking its production to a new level, as productivity is expected to increase more than fivefold. At the same time, the company is reinforcing its commitment to innovation.
“ANDRITZ's technology ensures excellent product quality while increasing line speed and reducing operational costs. The ProWin™ system reduces fiber deposits at the web edges and optimizes the CV ratio. This results in up to 10% fiber savings and higher production speeds, providing a faster ROI,” said Mark Raja, R&D Director at Mistra.
