Delta Demonstrates its Energy-Saving and Highly-Integrated Building Automation Solutions at Hannover Messe 2017
Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, starts displaying today at Hannover Messe 2017 its various building automation solutions, some of which are already contributing to the enhanced annual energy savings of up to 89% in the lighting system of the Manchester Airport, UK and up to 12% in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system of a major facility of Telecom Italia, Italy. The Building Management & Control System (BMCS), an IoT-oriented, cloud-ready and all-in-one platform solely compatible with all communication protocols involved in building control, and the Delta Energy Online, a powerful tool for extensive, smart and valuable energy monitoring and visualized analytics in buildings, are the two major cornerstones of our portfolio this year.
Mr. Idilio Ciuffarella, General Manager of Delta’s Smart Buildings in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, remarked, “Our building automation solutions are the ideal option of enterprises seeking to optimize the energy consumption and operational efficiency of their facilities not only because they offer next-generation features and capabilities but also given their seamless integration with Delta’s full range of energy-saving, energy generation and energy storage solutions. Such ecosystem is expected to enable close to 45% annual energy savings at Delta’s own headquarters, for the EMEA region located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands and recently renovated as a green building.”Visitors at Delta’s exhibition at Hannover Messe 2017, located at Hall 11, stand A57, will have the opportunity to view a live demo of our BMCS platform. The BMCS leverages its exclusive compatibility with all building control protocols used globally, including BACnet, Modbus, EnOcean, LON, M-Bus, KNX, OPC and DALI, to facilitate smart, remote and energy-efficient control of key infrastructure and equipment such as HVAC systems, power generation, lighting, security, among others. Implementation of Delta’s BMCS system have helped a major operation facility of Telecom Italia in Italy, achieve up to 12% annual energy savings in its HVAC system by enabling eco-friendly processes such as night cooling, optimized start/stop programs, load adjustment and deadband.
Delta’s innovative global energy management system, Delta Energy Online, is also available for our stakeholders at the show. This state-of-the-art platform provides customers with comprehensive energy generation and consumption monitoring from various perspectives to support top management’s energy efficiency strategic plans in their facilities. Advanced energy diagnostics indexes, including power usage effectiveness (PUE), energy performance indicators (EnPI) and Energy Use Intensity (EUI) as well as Measurement and Verification (M&V) from customers’ buildings around the world are parameters commonly are provided in real-time by our Delta Energy Online.
Our DALI Lighting System offers constant light control, presence detection and monitoring of energy consumption in lighting systems. The system has been installed by Delta’s subsidiary LOYTEC electronics to provide the Manchester Airport in the UK with reliable and effective lighting control, resulting in a reduction of up to 89% in lighting-related energy consumption.
Other recent large-scale integration cases include commercial buildings in Europe such as the Bebauung Langestraße 100, the ParkLake Shopping Centre in Romania, and the OBI Market in Nuremberg, Germany.
Whether in cross-building, cross-regional or cross-system applications, Delta’s intelligent building solutions and products help building managers achieve optimal efficiency in their daily operations and maintenance tasks, and enhance people’s health and productivity.
Welcome to join Delta’s Hall 11, Stand A57 exhibition at Hannover Messe 2017, Hannover, Germany from April 24 to 28.
