CIAT's eco-designed POWERCIAT2 water chiller, for cooling capacities ranging from 610 to 1350 kW, is now available in a High Energy Efficiency (HEE) version. Thanks to its latest-generation components, and in particular the integration of a micro-channel coil and CIAT's new high efficiency evaporator, POWERCIAT2 HEE is on average 10% more energy efficient than the standard model. It achieves the highest possible energy rating, Class A, with an average EER of 3.15 and exceptional seasonal efficiency levels, proven by an average ESEER of 4.1. Versatile, POWERCIAT2 HEE is specially designed for the air conditioning of large buildings such as hotels, offices, shopping centres and industrial facilities.
Bargteheide – At the 2014 Hannover Fair, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will showcase high-efficiency drive solutions for conveying applications. Compact two-stage helical bevel gear units are combined with energy-saving motors. Based on a comprehensive drive electronics program, NORD can configure drive units for a very wide selection of functional requirements. The frequency inverters for motor-mounting cover performance up to 22 kW. They provide high dynamics and are the only models in their class featuring positioning functionality and optional hoist and safety functions. The inverters that integrate sensor and actuator interfaces will be shown in synchronized operation with other drive models at the tradeshow booth.

Cambridge, UK – Datapaq extends its Furnace Tracker product range, adding a new ten thermocouple channel model designed specifically for use in low-height furnaces. The data logger stores up to 18,000 readings per channel at intervals from 0.05 seconds to 10 minutes. Ceramic-coated and laser-welded, the 29 mm high thermal barrier ensures a long operational life. The ten and four channel Furnace Tracker systems for glass tempering furnaces accurately measure temperatures from all types of glass, including hard and soft-coated low-E glass. Thus, users can optimize cycle times and reduce energy costs. The accompanying software features comprehensive analysis and archiving functions and enables users to see quickly and easily what is really happening inside the furnace.
