Norgren, an international market leader in pneumatic motion and fluid control technologies, has unveiled a comprehensive guide to its highly innovative Redundant Valve Manifold (RVM) system for process control in the oil, gas and chemical sectors.
Norgren, an international market leader in pneumatic and fluid control technology, will promote two key innovations for the oil, gas and chemicals sector at this year’s Asian Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition (Hall 5, Booth 5406).
Using faulty or worn equipment can have dramatic consequences in economic sectors such as construction, manufacturing and processing, transportation or chemical industries. Regular inspections are often in place to avoid accidents resulting from using flawed equipment. Brady now offers practical Visual Tagging Solutions (www.bradyeurope.com/visualtagging) to efficiently communicate inspection history on a broad range of tools and equipment.
Bargteheide – NORD DRIVESYSTEMS introduces new smooth-surface motors for high-hygiene applications. The three-phase induction motors without cooling fins are especially well-suited for applications in the food and beverage industry, since they are easier to clean than finned motors. Manufactured from aluminum, the motors can be finished with the nsd tupH surface treatment for a corrosion protection level similar to that of stainless steel drives and without the danger of flaking that occurs with coatings. The NORD-developed treatment is compliant with FDA Title 21 CFR 175.300 requirements. Non-ventilated and ventilated variants with ingress protection of at least IP66 are available, initially in sizes 80, 90, and 100 with motor power output from 0.37 to 2.2 kW. Efficiency levels corresponding to IE2 or higher ensure resource-friendly operation. Brakes and full thermal motor protection (bimetal temperature sensor or thermistor temperature sensor) can be optionally ordered in addition to incremental encoders. The smooth surfaces enable rapid and easy cleaning and are thus ideal for hygienic solutions, especially in combination with washdown gearboxes from NORD. The new motors are fully compatible with the entire NORD drive program, supporting and ensuring high versatility for efficient drive configuration.
Kennametal Inc. announced today that Kennametal South Africa has completed its relocation to a new facility in Boksburg East Industrial Sites, Gauteng.
The need to accurately control the position of the driver’s seat on both on and off-road commercial vehicles is long-established, with the function being integral to both safety and comfort. Meanwhile, the desire for seat levelling – returning the seat to its original position after it has been lowered to allow the driver to comfortably enter or exit the vehicle – is also now widely established. John Morris of Norgren, an international market leader in pneumatic motion and fluid control technologies, explains the technology behind seat control and seat levelling and the options available to modern commercial vehicle designers.
Last year, Souriau manufactured more than 50% of its 38999 connectors with a RoHS plating, further reinforcing the company’s position as industry green leader in the connector market. The company has more than a decade of experience with RoHS Zinc Nickel plating, which is now considered a superior RoHS-compliant alternative to cadmium by the MilAero industry.
Souriau has now industrialized this plating for most of the company’s MilAero connector lines, which includes the D38999, Series I, II and III, MIL-C-26482 Series I, VG96918, micro38999, caps and backshell.
