As one of the leading manufacturers of components, systems and solutions for electrical engineering and automation, Eaton’s Electrical Sector today announced the expanding of the soft starter series DS7 with devices up to 200 A. The soft starter is increasingly becoming established as an alternative to the star-delta starter. Users are thus provided with a complete system from 4 to 200 A with a standard actuation and functionality that will fully replace the previous DS4 and DS6 series. The supply voltage on the DS7 ranges from 200 to 480 V, and versions with 24 V AC/DC and 110-230V AC actuation are available.
