During the Wire 2012 exhibition, REDEX will welcome visitors to its booth for a live video broadcast showing the production of flat copper and aluminum wires on rolling mills which are waiting for delivery in its main factory.

The DMG-Portal Type DMU 600P milling machines have been designed to machine large components -up to 40 tons- at very high speed, dynamics and precision. Innovative drive systems are key contributing elements to this five axis system offering high versatility though a single setup. DMG works together with REDEX here. The European specialist in precision drives equips the X-, Y-, and C-axis with a TwinDrive rack and pinion drive system. REDEX precision drives are however also used in other drives axes and in the main milling spindle drive.

REDEX ANDANTEX Drives Go Green!

REDEX has just opened its new high precision gearing production factory in Senonches (Eure-et-Loire).

Bar Graphic Machinery Ltd has implemented an efficient solution to control the unwind tension of its rewinders. This solution is based on web-tension specialist Merobel’s brakes and power supplies.

A new contract has been signed between Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company (GARMCO) and REDEX in early May 2011 to supply a modern high performance Tension Leveling Line for aluminium strip, including the complete design, manufacture and commissioning at GARMCO’s plant (Manama - Bahrain). As one of the major parts of GARMCO's ambitious investment program, this REDEX Tension Leveling Line is intended to improve the global plant capacity and to ensure the highest level of quality, especially in terms of flatness and cleanliness, for aluminium strip from 0.25 to 3.2 mm thickness.
