Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has been known for its unique competencies in the measurement and control technology for many years. Bürkert’s components and systems have helped clients to successfully measure and dose smallest amounts of liquids all around the world and in virtually all industries. The exact dosing of small amounts for liquids is also the realm of ReseaTech, which was founded as a spin-off of the University of Applied Sciences Bern in 2015. The start-up company is a leader in micro dosing technology and provides micro dispensing valves and fast flow sensors capable of measuring minute amounts of liquid starting at only 50nl.
Seat valves with extended pressure and temperature. Bürkert now offers particularly durable and low-maintenance on/off and control valves for switching and controlling gases, liquids and steam in the process and food industries that are suitable for media pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 230 °C.
Valve island with extended diagnostic functions. Valve island Type 8652 AirLINE from Bürkert Fluid Control Systems now offers even greater process reliability thanks to additional diagnostic functions as well as a pressure sensor in the supply line. In the Ethernet variant, the integrated web server facilitates commissioning and maintenance even in demanding applications.
Safe chemical disinfection saves time and costs. A scalable system with a compressed air-operated dual-substance nozzle and flowmeters from Bürkert allows cost-saving and reliable disinfection with hydrogen peroxide.
Fully automated iron measurement and documentation. It is quite time-consuming to constantly check the iron content in drinking water manually. The Bürkert Online Analysis System with the MS06 iron analyser for photometric iron measurement does this fully automatically, includes several measuring points and allows long maintenance intervals
Noise insulation and heat recovery in plant components and machines lead to increased ambient and media temperatures during operation. Bürkert plunger valves Type 7011 and Type 7012 come with various approvals and master this challenge at media temperatures of up to 140°C and ambient temperatures of up to 70°C.
The new highly resistant mass flow meters and controllers Type 8756 from Bürkert Fluid Control Systems are based on the Coriolis measuring principle, which determines the mass flow independent of pressure and temperature. Thanks to the extensive measuring / control range and stable zero-point, even the smallest quantities of liquid can be measured, controlled or dosed precisely with highest repeatability.
In fermentation processes, gases and liquids must be metered or controlled as precisely and repeatedly as possible over a broad flow range. Bürkert offers a wide range of products for this purpose and will be giving a live presentation at ACHEMA Pulse to show how intelligent fluidic and sensor solutions contribute to safe results.
Bürkert’s proven FLOWave flowmeters are now approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Hygienic measurement without media contacting sensor elements in the tube is thus also possible in Ex zones with flammable solvents such as alcohols, e.g. for the production of pharmaceutical products, spirits, semiconductors and paints.
Bürkert is expanding its portfolio of mass flow meters (MFMs) and mass flow controllers (MFCs), Types 8742 and 8746, for gases to include variants with a standard signal and PROFIBUS-DP interface. The new generation enables simple device replacement or plant modernisation, while ensuring the usual high measuring accuracy and low-maintenance operation. Further, the robust housing allows unprotected field use, even in Ex Zone 2.
