To address these requirements, Acbel's 2-in-1 Combo integrates onboard charging (OBC) and DC/DC conversion into a single power conversion unit. By consolidating two key functions into one module, the solution reduces interfaces, component count, and design complexity while simplifying vehicle packaging, thermal management, and system validation for OEMs.

To support multi-voltage vehicle architectures, Acbel's 6kW Dual-Output DC/DC Converter efficiently converts high-voltage battery power into both 48V and 12V outputs. The 48V output supports centralized computing platforms and other high-power electronic loads, while the 12V output maintains compatibility with conventional low-voltage vehicle systems. Together, these solutions simplify vehicle electrical architectures, reduce conversion losses and system complexity, and improve overall energy efficiency.

At the technology level, Acbel incorporates silicon carbide (SiC) power devices together with high-power-density thermal design and advanced magnetic component engineering to reduce switching losses, increase power density, and improve thermal performance. In parallel, Acbel is advancing ISO/SAE 21434 certification for automotive cybersecurity. Threat analysis, risk assessment, cybersecurity requirements, and design verification are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle to support Europe's evolving requirements for connected vehicles, over-the-air software updates, and vehicle certification.
