Double premiere at the EuroShop 2020

The °Clever Art of Cooling - new GEA Bock CO2 compressors especially for supermarkets and distribution centers.

According to the motto "The °Clever Art of Cooling", GEA Bock is presenting the new generation of innovative CO2 and HC compressors for natural refrigerants for the first time at EuroShop 2020 in Düsseldorf.

"The new subcritical and transcritical CO2 compressor series offer clever solutions for refrigeration systems especially in the application of supermarkets and distribution centers - future-proof, reliable, powerful," says Manuel Fröschle, Product Manager Natural Refrigerants at GEA Bock.

"Operators benefit especially from improved process efficiency with minimized energy costs and a wide range of applications - also in combination with heat recovery and air conditioning". The refrigeration and air conditioning specialist from Frickenhausen will present the highlights 2020 to the trade public as exhibits from February 16 to 20 at its booth D77 in hall 17.

Market launch HGX44e CO2 - new milestone in compressor efficiency
World premiere and market launch for the new generation of subcritical GEA Bock CO2 compressors: The HGX44e CO2 series, designed for industrial low temperature applications, offers at least six percent higher compressor efficiency compared to other compressors on the market. "This allows operating costs in hypermarkets and distribution centers to be significantly reduced. And all this with the highest reliability during operation thanks to our proven GEA Bock CO2 compressor design," emphasizes Manuel Fröschle.

Trade fair premiere HGX24 CO2 (L)T - specialized for small capacity requirements
GEA Bock is expanding its portfolio for transcritical applications in the lower capacity range with the new HGX24 CO2 (L)T CO2 compressor series. With cooling capacities from 9 to 21 kW in medium temperature, the compressor is specially designed for system applications in supermarkets with smaller capacities.

"Thanks to the CO2-specific design, the compact compressors guarantee high flexibility in application through a wide frequency range with minium partial load control and maximum operational reliability," says Fröschle.
In addition, the Frickenhausen-based company will be presenting its currently complete range of commercial HC reciprocating compressors for the hydrocarbon-based natural refrigerants such as propane and propylene at the newly designed booth at EuroShop.

"Our new and proven compressor series offer planners, investors and operators of supermarkets economically and ecologically efficient, tailor-made solutions that already safely meet legal requirements such as the F-Gas Regulation (EU). We call this The °Clever Art of Cooling," explains Fröschle.
