Addition to the VariaPro family

The cable glands for demanding markets will also be available in the sizes M12, M16, M50 and M63 in the future. HUMMEL AG has thus responded to the great demand for these robust and equally slim cable glands.

Particular attention was paid during development to the clamping ranges. Thanks to special reduction inserts, the VariaPro glands cover an incomparably wide range. This is clearly demonstrated by the example of the M16 cable gland. It covers a cable cross section of four to twelve millimetres. For the user, this means maximum flexibility, simplified procurement processes and lean warehousing.

With this expansion of the product range, HUMMEL AG is also becoming a complete supplier to its customers in the segment of these specific cable glands. In their efforts to streamline procurement channels, customers increasingly demand from their suppliers the availability of a very wide range of products.

VariaPro is available in three versions. The VariaPro Temp variant is designed for extreme temperatures. It covers a temperature range from -60 to +200⁰ Celsius. The acid-resistant VariaPro FKM is suitable for applications in the process industry. The Rail variant, on the other hand, meets the strictest fire protection standards and can therefore be used on all trains in the European rail network.
All variants have an integrated EMC connection as standard and meet protection class IP68 up to 10 bar. UL certification for the complete range is in preparation.
