EMERSON ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF THE PROGEA GROUP
Progea has been operating successfully as a private business for more than 25 years, and our passion for supporting your Industrial Software and IoT needs continues to grow. We have worked with many of you from the initial introduction of Movicon in 1992 through many product and technology advancements leading to the new Movicon.NExTt platform, the first automation software to provide connectivity, IIoT, HMI/SCADA and plant analytics in a single platform.
We are excited to inform you that today, Emerson, a global automation leader who shares our spirit of innovation, has completed the purchase of the Progea Group, providing our team and portfolio the opportunity to reach the next level of customer service, global reach and support. The relationships we have with all our customers, distributors and channel partners have been integral to Progea‘s success, and we will continue to work with our new colleagues to ensure a seamless transition into Emerson so we can continue to serve you at the highest level.
This new chapter as part of Emerson brings new capabilities and resources, creating new opportunities to deliver end-to-end hardware and software solutions for our customers. The pairing of our modern HMI/SCADA, Industrial IoT and connectivity platforms with Emerson’s industrial automation and control portfolio, including its PAC/PLCs, industrial edge, motion and industrial computing hardware is a tremendous combination.
