VERLINDE hoists equip a new train maintenance center in Spain

Grupo JPG, a local integrator of VERLINDE hoists and crane components, has equipped the CISF (Centro Integral de Sistemas Ferroviarios), a new 20000 square meter maintenance area for the company ADIF, (Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias) with overhead cranes. In the context of a global standardization of train speeds and power supplies, the cranes will be used to lift the train power and motorization equipment.

The CISF laboratory features a testing ground and a garage for final checks and maintenance of trains and is linked to the Centre of Railway Technology of ADIF. Due to its dimensions and superior service, the testing ground is considered as one of the most outstanding ones in Europe.

► 8 overhead cranes equipped with EUROBLOC VT wire hoists from VERLINDE have been installed by JPG at the CISF, Málaga, Spain: 4 under running single girders, 2 top running single girders, and 2 top running double girders.

They have a load capacity between 2 and 40 tons, a span from 4,5 m to 12m, a height of 8 or 9 meters and a runway between 50 and 214 meters.


► 5 Electrics hoist equipped with EUROCHAIN VL10 from VERLINDE have been installed by JPG.

They have a load capacity of 2 tons and 8 meters of height of lift.

Grupo JPG completed the equipment delivery and installation in 3 months.
