Alliance Electronics sets up in France and acquires 3 expert electronic board manufacturers
Alliance Electronics, a technological and industrial group specializing in electronic subcontracting, is setting up in France (Rosheim, Bas-Rhin) and finalizing its first three acquisitions.
With its cutting-edge know-how and recognized expertise, Alliance Electronics wants to become established as a leading player in its sector. Driven by an ambitious strategic project, the goal is to become the European leader in High-Mix Low-Volume (HMLV) electronic product manufacturing.
With manufacturing sites in France, Portugal and Tunisia, totalling more than 850 employees, Alliance, whose turnover exceeds 50 million euros this year, aims to develop a network of pooled expertise with multiple skills that address the needs of its European customers.
To support its development, Alliance has added a partner to its shareholder base, the pan-European investment fund Waterland Private Equity. It contributes its international buy & build expertise to an ambitious strategy of external growth.
Damien Rossignon, a company director in the electronics subcontracting industry for more than 20 years, has been appointed President of Alliance-Electronics:
"We want to surround ourselves with companies who wish to be a part of this growth, and in this way we will form a federation. Each company will keep its DNA and bring with it its energy and its know-how. "
ALLIANCE ELECTRONICS, a name that has both meaning and identity
Lead by its desire to federate actors in the electronics sector, the group has chosen a name and visual identity which are both strong and symbolic. Alliance Electronics is thus the affirmation of the ambitions and evolutionary dynamic originating from the directors of the group: the creation of a group of powerful EMS partners, capable of mutually assisting one another to transform their activities. Alliance provides financial strength, increased investment and production capabilities.
"The world of subcontracting is made up of a multitude of small companies, often isolated, and our business is a local, collaborative one; it is therefore essential and urgent to join forces in order to remain solid and face the current shortage with greater resilience" says Damien Rossignon, President of Alliance Electronics.
"We are looking for fully-fledged companies: by taking part in this alliance, each will keep its identity, its values, while benefiting from strong support on the subjects of organization, finance, digitalization."
ALTRICS and PROTO-ELECTRONICS join ALLIANCE ELECTRONICS
Altrics and Proto-Electronics are among the first companies to join Alliance Electronics. These two specialists in electronic boards, one in medium series, the other in prototyping, will bring their expertise to all the companies of the group, which also includes ATEMS.
To date, 10 other European companies (France, Italy, Belgium, Denmark) are in discussions to join the alliance.
"We are committed to working with them to unlock their potential and make a positive impact," says Damien Rossignon.
The human aspect will be at the heart of this alliance. The objective is to encourage the development of each individual within organizations and the development of talent in diversified and multicultural teams.
With this in mind, the group offers end-to-end support with a strategy based on 3 major axes, always with the objective of sustainable performance:
• Becoming a true partner for its clients, thanks to a range of value-added services
• To combine the strength of a group with the agility and proximity of SMEs close to their customers, throughout Europe
• To make the transition to digitalization
• Combine the digital expertise and know-how of each company
Since 2013, Proto-Electronics has been able to demonstrate its know-how in integrating digitalization within its industry, by allowing its customers to order their projects online.
"We are convinced that digital has to benefit all actors in the electronics industry, and we believe that our mission is to support manufacturers of all sizes to become digitalized, and to pool some of the resources which are currently inaccessible to companies by reason of their size" emphasizes Damien Rossignon.
Alliance Electronics plans to acquire 4 more companies in 2022 and reach a turnover of more than €100M.
