De Dietrich Process Systems
De Dietrich Process Systems expands its range of multipurpose systems
De Dietrich Process Systems, a developer and manufacturer of equipment for the chemical, pharmaceutical and vegetal chemistry industries, reputed as a supplier of high-end systems, is expanding its range of competitive multipurpose solutions.
For more than 150 years, De Dietrich Process Systems has been supplying process industries with a wide range of solutions including drying and filtration/vacuum drying systems. Originally developed for basic chemicals, the systems have been further enhanced as the market has evolved towards fine chemistry and pharmaceuticals, where in Europe, filtration/drying solutions are the market leaders. As a result, the dryers and filters/dryers have evolved, and specialized designs have been introduced to meet the increasingly exacting demands of customers in the pharmaceutical industry. At the same time, the group continues to support chemical manufacturers, addressing less specialized applications or those where the constraints are less stringent. Its drying competence centre continues to expand the range, developing solutions based on the fundamentals of De Dietrich’s know-how: robustness, versatility, reliability and no-frills functionality.
The Essentielle range of filter/dryers offers performance-optimized models of these solutions. Cost and functional efficiency are optimized to meet the primary requirements of a wide range of customers in the chemical industry, who do not need sterile design or GMP, for example. The tank and dust filter are the main elements that have been redesigned with a focus on the basic functions. The range has been named Essentielle to reflect that it meets the basic needs of a wide range of customers in the chemical industry.
A new horizontal paddle dryer has been added to the range
In the case of dryers, the approach has gone one step further. Instead of altering an existing design, the group offers a completely different device, a horizontal paddle dryer, thanks to a partnership with the company HLE, De Dietrich Process Systems already has a horizontal dryer in its product catalogue, the Universal dryer, which can handle the most difficult products. This equipment performs extremely well, however its design is more complex than that of the average dryer. To allow De Dietrich supply a solution to its customers, which is suited to more standard applications, the group offers the highly versatile horizontal pallet dryer system. By offering the system in as a complement to the group’s existing catalogue of vertical, conical and spherical dryers, customers now have a better choice when selecting the perfect solution for their drying or filtration/drying applications, either a highly specialized or a highly versatile solution.
