The company with headquarters in the USA is now an authorized distributor for over 350 manufacturers, specialising in hard-to-source parts for the repair solutions aftermarket. As part of the expansion, Radwell is seeking skilled electronic engineers to work at its site in Napajedla.
Bohumil Jančík, Branch Manager of Radwell International Czechia s.r.o. in the Czech RepublicRadwell is already one of Europe’s biggest providers of new and used surplus, industrial electrical and electronic control equipment. In the Czech Republic, Radwell launched operations with the acquisition of industrial repairs specialist K+S European Services in September 2022. The expansion also included acquisitions of operations in Poland, Germany, Belgium and the UK. Radwell now has over 250,000 new and obsolete spare parts in stock, across 9.5 km2 of storage over seven European sites.
With the expansion of its operations in the Czech Republic, the company is seeking to expand its team of electronics engineers to provide repair solutions for industrial businesses across the country and all of Europe. Bohumil Jančík, Branch Manager of Radwell International Czechia s.r.o., says: “We sell and repair industrial electrical and electronic control devices, timers, counters, photoelectric sensors, circuit breakers, pushbuttons, PLCs, motors, speed control and any other devices used to make machinery run. Sectors we work in include vehicle manufacturers, chemical plants, food processing facilities, local authorities, government agencies, bakeries, power plants, amusement parks, exporters, plastic moulding and extruders, steel plants and a long list of other business sectors. The size and scale of our inventory now puts us in an unrivalled position for the provision of spare parts and repairs solutions in stressful breakdown situations.”
Jančík hopes that the Moravian facility in Napajedla, east of Brno, will become a key hub for Europe. “We are looking to recruit a further four electronics engineers in the next six months,” he says. “We are especially interested in graduates from Brno University of Technology (Vysoké učení technické v Brně) looking for a job where they can use their skills locally and continue living in the region where they studied.”
“Dedicated to continuous improvement, our operations team analyses all internal processes and implements changes, both automated and manual, to provide the very best service level possible for our customers,” Jančík says. Radwell’s European capabilities are supported by a worldwide database of over 35 million spare parts.
