WEG showcases sustainable solutions for renewable energy at Hyvolution
The company will spotlight its efficient solutions designed to accelerate the transition to more sustainable energy systems while addressing critical environmental challenges.
WEG will attend Hyvolution 2025 an event dedicated to the hydrogen and energy sectors, on January 28–30, 2025 in Paris.
At the forefront of WEG’s showcase will be the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a pivotal technology that enables efficient renewable energy management. By storing clean energy and providing grid stability, the BESS mitigates the intermittency of renewable power sources, enhancing energy security and supporting a reliable transition to sustainable power generation.
WEG will also highlight its Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) solutions, offering industries a dependable way to reduce emissions. By capturing CO₂ from industrial processes and storing it safely, this technology is essential for industries striving to achieve net-zero goals.
Complementing these core solutions, WEG will present its advancements in ammonia and hydrogen production technologies. These innovations are crucial for reducing emissions across industrial applications. Key components, such as high-efficiency rectifiers and electrolysers, enable cost-effective and sustainable production of hydrogen and ammonia, ensuring the scalability of green technologies for diverse applications.
"Hyvolution presents an ideal platform to connect with industry leaders and showcase our solutions in carbon capture, hydrogen production and battery energy storage," said Loic Kentrotis, marketing manager at WEG France. "WEG is dedicated to driving innovation in the energy transition by providing reliable, sustainable solutions that address today’s most pressing environmental and energy challenges."
Aligned with its industry leadership, WEG France is an active member of GIMELEC, the French syndicate for the electrical and digital industries. As part of this network of over 200 companies, WEG champions sustainable electrification, energy efficiency and digital innovation. GIMELEC’s advocacy for public policy advancements and circular economy principles aligns closely with WEG’s vision for a greener future.
Following the Hyvolution event, WEG France will also participate in Carrefour des Gestions Locales de l’Eau 2025, held from January 22 to 23, 2025, in Rennes, France. In hall 5, stand 60, the company will continue to emphasise its commitment to water management and sustainable resource solutions.
