Brexit: Eurotunnel is one of eight companies who have signed up to the UK government’s ‘freight procurement framework’, making it one of the freight operators who could transport critical goods after 31 October. This framework is to be in place for the coming four years. The government hopes this additional red tape will speed up procurement processes disrupted by Brexit.
Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, held today a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new building in the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, which will become the base for its industrial automation business in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) The new building will meet rigorous environmental design demands and, given its green credentials, Delta plans to apply for a Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Gold certification. The new building is currently expected to be operational in 2021, and will eventually house up to 150 employees.
After the imminent delivery of the first performance demonstrator battery systems, the contract will enable Leclanché to become the selected supplier for a potential business revenue of more than 100m € over thenext 5 years, delivering battery systems for about 10 different railway projects.
