For the past few years, Renault's site in Cléon, France, has been using Keyence's LJ-G laser displacement sensors on its G9 engine production line. The site chose the sensors for their detection reliability and ease of use.
No moving parts design; for ultra-high speed and accuracy. Conventional micrometers have typically adopted a "laser scan method" using physical moving parts, resulting in a limitation on the ability to improve speed and accuracy. The LS-9000 Series utilises a "high-speed exposure CMOS + high-intensity Green-LED" method that eliminates the need for moving parts, achieving further improvements in speed and accuracy. The elimination of moving parts also gives the model extremely high durability and longevity.
There has been a real technological breakthrough in the profile measuring field. Approximately 30 times faster than the best standard of the market, with the LJ-V Series it is possible to check instantaneously the results of a scanned target using a 3D view on line. It is also characterised by the simplicity of its implementation, precision and its stability of detection.
This new series has been designed to address the problems users are having with safety light curtains. Unique and strong design, quick and easy installation, and yet the highest level of security is provided.
Pioneering the field of digital microscopy, KEYENCE has released its latest microscope system, the VHX-2000. The VHX Series Digital Microscope was designed to alleviate the shortcomings of traditional, optical light microscopes - shallow depth-of-field, short working distance, lack of portability and versatility, sample limitations, etc. By integrating advanced zoom optics with a CCD camera, 17" LCD monitor, light source, controller and analysis/reporting software, the VHX streamlines testing and improves the speed and efficiency of the inspection process.
The IM-6500 Series from Keyence is a new type of measurement device. It is a completely new concept to rival established measuring equipment such as profile projectors, measuring microscopes or automatic CNC measuring machines. The dimensional measurement concept of the IM-6500 series utilises state of the art imaging technology, thus enabling any user to perform reliable measurements in a minimum of time and with an increased accuracy. You simply place a part on a measurement stage, push the button and up to 99 dimensions are measured in a few seconds with accuracies down to 0.7 micron. No tiresome positioning, nor risks of measurement variance or deviation between individual operators. The simplicity of use results in the IM-6500 series emerging as a massive cost saving alternative to traditional time consuming measurement processes.
