HARTING APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES: SUCCESS WITH THE RIGHT DIGITAL PROCESSES

When HARTING Applied Technologies GmbH emerged as the overall winner of the “Toolmaking of the Year 2020” competition in autumn 2020, the joy in Espelkamp in East Westphalia was great.

In addition to the overall victory, the HARTING subsidiary also won the award in the “Internal toolmaking with less than 50 employees” category. The company had already won this category in 2014, 2016 and 2018.

The award is given by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT and the machine tool laboratory WZL of the RWTH. According to the jury, the decisive factor for HARTING Applied Technologies was "the clearly defined strategy for each business area, which included roadmaps with defined fields of action and goals, as well as the particularly high awareness of vision and strategy within the workforce."
