Rohde & Schwarz and Broadcom have successfully validated the R&S CMP180 radio communication tester for Broadcom Wi-Fi 7 chipsets. OEMs and ODMs of wireless devices can now get their first Wi-Fi 7 products ready for market.

Rohde & Schwarz and Nothing Technology announce their joining of forces in the R&D process to validate the 5G multiband aggregation and the application layer performance for Nothing Technology’s new Phone (1) with the R&S CMX500 one-box signaling tester.

Together with its partner Löhnert Elektronik, Rohde & Schwarz has introduced a fully automated turnkey solution for bumper production radar transparency testing based on the successful R&S QAR50. The lightweight and compact setup of the R&S QAR50-R facilitates precise positioning of the measurement antennas, allowing faster, more accurate and convenient testing. This leads to higher throughput and yeilds as well as more flexiblity to adapt to different DUTs, for End-of-line (EOL) measurements of bumpers and other exterior parts.

To ease and speed up the development process, AVL and Rohde & Schwarz, two of the world’s leading providers of automotive test systems, present an innovative solution for automated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) data analysis of an electric drivetrain under real driving conditions.

Rohde & Schwarz submitted its latest 5G NR protocol conformance test cases to the Global Certification Forum (GCF) at the GCF CAG#72 meeting in October 2022 and successfully passed verification. The company now has over 500 GCF-certified protocol conformance test cases, illustrating the leadership of Rohde & Schwarz in 5G NR protocol conformance testing.

Rohde & Schwarz, the only supplier of fast diode sensors for power measurements up to 67 GHz, is increasing the maximum measurable frequency of diode power sensors to 90 GHz; higher than any other diode sensor currently available. The diode technology enables extremely fast and accurate power measurements with the highest sensitivity from a compact and light-weight portable instrument. High speed power measurements are now possible for all frequencies above 67 GHz in 5G, automotive radar and satellite communications applications including the entire E band.

European Formula Student teams can apply to Rohde & Schwarz before January 1, 2023 and borrow one of ten electronic test equipment packages for use throughout 2023. Each preconfigured package includes an oscilloscope and power supply.

Rohde & Schwarz welcomes visitors back to its home town at the electronica 2022 in hall A3 at booth 307 from November 15 to 18, 2022. The latest addition to the Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscope portfolio, the new R&S MXO 4 series, will be given a special focus.

The voice and audio analysis expert HEAD acoustics has decided in favor of the 5G test solution from Rohde & Schwarz for verification of voice and audio services of 5G mobile devices. The upgraded R&S CMX500 5G one-box signaling tester features a significantly reduced footprint and easier handling combined with debugging and analysis capabilities, which support the end users’ testing of voice services.
