New compliance test automation software from Rohde & Schwarz for IEEE 802.3 cable assemblies allows for precise and time-saving compliance tests of high-speed cables and backplanes according to the IEEE 802.3bj, by, cd and ck standards.

Europe's premier microwave, RF, wireless and radar event – European Microwave Week – returns as live event to London in April 2022. Test and measurement expert Rohde & Schwarz has been introducing a number of innovative solutions for measurements up to mmWave frequencies over the past months, which visitors will be able to experience in person at the conference exhibition.

This live two-day online event will feature application-oriented presentations from Rohde & Schwarz and partners, based on the day to day challenges electronics engineers face when using oscilloscopes and related test and measurement equipment to achieve their testing goals.

With a completely new family of high performance LCR meters, the frequency range of impedance measurements provided by Rohde & Schwarz test equipment is dramatically extended to cover AC components operating from 4 Hz to 10 MHz, supporting all practical applications.

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has selected Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing solutions to assess and benchmark the performance, coverage and capacity of the country's mobile network operators. AFMETCAL, the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Authority, has been seeking to purchase microwave measurement receivers (MMR) for its precision measurement equipment laboratories (PMEL’s) and Air Force primary standards laboratory (AFPSL). According to these requirements Rohde & Schwarz has developed the R&S FSMR3000AF measuring receiver to calibrate signal generators and attenuators with one single instrument. Most important features provided are tuned RF level measurements, level measurements, analog modulation and spectrum analysis. This is the second order in between months, which AFMETCAL has placed with Rohde & Schwarz.

Rohde & Schwarz China and Zhuhai DingLi Corp., Ltd. have won the 2021 China Mobile centralized procurement project for 5G scanners. The R&S TSME6 drive test scanner has an ultracompact design and multiband, multitechnology support for simultaneous measurements. It scored a 70 % share of the project.

At MWC Barcelona 2022 Rohde & Schwarz is showcasing its range of automotive 5G and C-V2X test solutions for development in the lab and verification in the field to ensure the performance and reliability of critical automotive communications. Further focus applications are UWB test solutions for R&D, certification and production as well as flexible GNSS simulation provided by Rohde & Schwarz.

The PTCRB certification organization has approved the first radio ressource management (RRM) conformance test cases for FR2 with two angles of arrival (2xAoA), using the R&S TS-RRM-NR 5G RRM conformance test system from Rohde & Schwarz. The test cases have been validated in multiple FR2 EN-DC band combinations, using the new R&S ATS1800M CATR based multi-AoA anechoic chamber.

The Bosch Group has selected the R&S CMP200 radio communication tester from Rohde & Schwarz to validate automotive Ultra-Wideband (UWB) applications in manufacturing. The project is a continuation of the long-term cooperation between Bosch and Rohde & Schwarz in wireless connectivity.
